Bobby myers, artist
Bobby Myers, a fourth-generation South Carolinian artist, honed his craft in oil and watercolor under renowned painter Jim Boyle. Drawing inspiration from Appalachian life and his frequent travels across North America’s western backroads, Bobby infuses his paintings with vibrant, joyful flair to uplift viewers.
His work has graced exhibitions, private auctions, and galleries across South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, and private collections in the United States, Canada, Europe, Scandinavia, and the Caribbean. Visit his gallery at Tannery and Sons, 112 Ram Cat Alley, Seneca, South Carolina, to explore his art and repurposed pieces.
Beyond painting, Bobby is an avid surfer, adventure photographer and rural explorer. He’s deeply committed to public service, proudly serving on the ‘William Enston Home’ Board of Trustees since 1999, which supports U.S. military veterans and female domestic abuse survivors with housing and essential services in Charleston, SC. Currently, he’s restoring a 110 year old Appalachian log cabin, once a five-bedroom hotel in the Blue Ridge Mountains, with completion expected in spring 2026.
