South Carolinian, Bobby Myers, is a 4th generation artist & was fortunate to study oil and watercolor painting under the tutelage of renowned painter Jim Boyle. As an artist, Bobby receives inspiration from the people, places and critters he comes across, whether it’s from daily life living in Appalachia or from his travels exploring the backroads of North America. He adds a fun and vibrant flair to each of his paintings to evoke happiness in the viewer.

His artwork has been featured in numerous exhibitions, private auctions and galleries in South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida & in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Scandinavia and the Caribbean.
Additionally, much of Bobby’s art and repurposed pieces can be seen & purchased at his gallery space at ‘Tannery & Sons’ located at 112 Ram Cat Alley  in Seneca, South Carolina.

Aside from painting, Bobby enjoys traveling and is an avid surfer and adventure/urban exploration photographer.
Bobby is involved with several public service and historical preservation projects in the Upstate of South Carolina & in Charleston, SC where he has been an active chair on the ‘William Enston Home Board of Trustees’ since 1999. This charitable organization assists U.S. military veterans & female domestic abuse survivors in need of permanent, safe housing and other vital services.

Bobby’s current project is the restoration of a 110-year-old historic log cabin once used as a five-bedroom rudimentary hotel in the Blue Ridge Mountains with an estimated completion date in the spring of 2026.
